Land Design Partnership worked collaboratively to develop an innovative raingarden design for Johnstone Park, a heritage park in Geelong.
The function of the raingarden is to collect and treat rainwater for re-use in the Park. The layout and character of the raingarden is designed to reflect the heritage setting, through the choice of planting and reinstatement of landforms reflective of the original garden layout.
The result is an integration of contemporary and heritage design concerns.
