Fraser Design Collaborative is a recently established boutique landscape architecture consultancy, focussing on master planning and design services of public, educational and community spaces.

The practice is led by Lindsay Fraser who was previously a director of Land Design Partnership and (it’s predecessor Chris Dance Land Design) since 1998. During this time, Lindsay gained a wealth of project experience in the master planning, detailed design, documentation and construction of public, educational and community spaces.

Fraser Design Collaborative is built around the notion of positive collaboration at all levels of a project.

As demonstrated in Lindsay’s project work at Land Design Partnership, this means establishing positive client relationships, working with them to produce design responses that are functional, attractive and sustainable, and embracing the idea that all outcomes are enhanced through collaborative processes.

Significantly it also means working closely with a range of similarly independent consultants. This enables the formation of specialist teams appropriate to each project.

Fraser Design Collaborative’s approach to all projects is based upon achieving an effective and appropriate response to each individual site, responding to a clear understanding of the context of a place. In our view, this context comprises three main threads – community, environment and landscape setting, and economics.
